Finally someone who sees the sheer beauty of this game!
I haven't played it as much as I want to because of work, but on my days off between Blitz:The League and Smackdown vs Raw 2006 I got my gaming on.
As a wrestling fan you gotta love all the options in terms of timing, stamina, super dirty finishers, two normal finishers, a "playing possum" finisher, and on and on. I sure do. This series has come such a long way it's sweet to be rewarded with such an excellent product at the end of it's evolution.
I so wish I had online, but this game has more than enough options to keep me busy. Best thing about it is...I LOSE! I LOSE in this game when I'm doing my best to win! That's so cool! All of the installments before I usually mastered the system pretty quickly and won about 95% of my matches. Now it's actually a challenge every single time you play! You can create wrestlers, their entrances, and even manage a brand. (I really need to try that out!)
Now all there is left to do is figure out a way to unlock Jake "The Snake" Roberts. I don't know anyone with a PSP and the game so I can't unlock him the way I read on gamefaqs. Damn. But in the meantime I'll keep my eye out for good CAWS and make some originals for when me and my best friend hang out again at my crib and play some video games.
Hey Road any tips on winning the Rumble in season mode? I made it up to me and Taker at the end of it and got eliminated. Thing is they made me do it over and it was late and I didn't feel like it so I quit but then it ended my entire season. I kept all my cash but my season was done. So I think you HAVE to win it. Do you have any tips or tricks for the Royal Rumble match itself?
