I caught Chicken Little in Disney 3D (we had to wear these cute chicken little like glasses, and we got to keep them too ) It was actually better than I expected, but it still lacked the Disney feel to it, much like most of Disney's recent ventures. However, because I am such a general fan of animation, and thought it sucked that the animators were forced to give up their traditional medium in order to keep their jobs, so I gave it try and despite what critics are saying, I thought the movie was quite entertaining. And quite frankly, Disney could have done worse, and actually have done worse (Home on the Range-although the art was superb, the story was so blah). I just wish Disney, as well as the other animation studios, would realize that its not what medium the animation is in, its the actual story, and instead of trying to go with this 3d craze chock full of those Shrek-like proverbial cliches (not that I dont like shrek cause I do), make something creative and timeless. Ok so there is my review and rant of the evening lol

I wanted to take my nieces to go see this but oh well. In any event I want to see it when I get the chance. Disney movies are home runs 98.9% of the time.
